“Intrinsic” is an animatic I worked on during my 2026 winter term at Portland Community College. It’s meant to be an arguement between me and the personification of my anxiety. The voice acting in the short was provided by me.
In late 2025, I had one of the worst mental health crises I’ve ever had. I was profoundly struggling with my OCD, which primarily manifested as obsessive thoughts. During that time, I came up with the idea for this short and recorded the audio for it as a way to cope. The events of this short are loosely based off of my obsessive thoughts during this time.
